From the album 'Riot'

Due to our group being of 3 females, we felt it would be more convenient and reliable to have one of us as the leading singer, and so we needed a song with a female front person. I chose the band Paramore for this because the female is very powerful and has a lot of attitude, something that would also be enjoyable to act. For this particular song I would have the majority as a performative piece in order to promote the entire band rather than just a singular artist, which would be quite difficult with just a narrative. This would involve a variety of facial close ups and close ups of the instruments. I would then have a small narrative entwining throughout the video to add an intriguing touch to the song and uphold audience interest. This narrative would stick to the lyrics sung, that of involving several negative teenage love stories in which the female is mistreated, followed by an alteration of them breaking away from their partner when the final chorus comes in. I thought this would also comply with the strong female attitudes of the singer, and so acts as some sort of feminine solidarity and respect. Due to the band having a very quirky sound, I would explore the use of effects through altering the colour for the first part of the narrative to be being very dark with a blue tinge, and then brightening it up for the second part of the narrative, in order to visually compliment the emotions felt.
