By providing a list of the individual times in which each lyric holds, we are abke to plan our shots more appropraiately. This is especially important seeing as we are creating a narrative music video in which each visual shot will be synchronised with the lyric it plays with. Therefore the times are crucial so that we can plan our shots to run for the correct amount of time, as it would be pointless to create a shot that emphasises the point we wish to make, but then having to cut it down due to it being to long.
All this planning will allow our schedule to run smoothly.
