The Significance of creating a storyboard is to see whether or not our planning of shots works. It allows us to see if the synchronisation between visual, audio and timing has been done appropriately as well as to see whether or not our narrative makes sense and if we our accomplishing our purpose.
Of course, we cannot discover all of this from just the storyboard, but it does give us an initial sense of whether it works.
From this, we can clearly see that many small insert shots need to be included and perhaps a few more shots to get the story across better, but overall we feel that the storyboard has been successful and we are pleased with the outcome.
Having initially created paper storyboards, we decided to scan our sot designs into the computer in order to get some practice with Adobe Premier Pro, the software we will be using for our actual video.
